This Privacy Policy (together with our terms and conditions of supply and any other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you on the website careermatch-uk.com (hereinafter the “Site”), or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.

What Information We Collect

We may collect and process two kinds of data about you:

Non-Personal Information

You can visit our Site without giving away your personal information. CareerMatch uses Google Analytics and cookies in order to improve our service to you as well as user experience on our Site. The information collected by Google Analytics is mostly anonymous traffic data (e.g. browser information, device information, and the browser’s language settings) To estimate approximate location, Google Analytics might also collect a user’s IP address, however, CareerMatch does not have access to IP address information of users. This analytics data is used to gain insights into usability and an overview of how people are accessing and using the CareerMatch website. It is not used for any additional purpose, such as to profile those who access our website.

We also use cookies and/or web beacons to help us identify repeat visitors, the duration of a Site visit, as well as functionalities that users choose to use. The use of these technologies aims at identifying how to serve you better and improve your user experience on our Site. Personally Identifiable Information

When using our Site, you may submit “Personally Identifiable Information” to register for an account, update your account information, submit a form on our Site, purchase and use our products and/or services, sign up for our newsletter, participate in our public forums, post material, complete a survey, and reach out to us via email or telephone. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our site.

How We Use Your Information


If you contact us via email or phone or other means, including but not limited to social media, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes and customer service, although you do not have to respond to these surveys.

We may also email you with updates on promotions and events, relating to products and services offered by us. You have the option to opt-out of receiving any promotional communications as described below under “Your Rights.”

If you are an existing customer, we will only contact you by post or electronic means (e.g. e-mail or SMS) with information about goods and services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale to you.

Account Registration

When you register for an account on our Site, you may be required to provide us with your name and email address. All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers. We will use this data to communicate with you regarding account specific updates and information.

Transaction Information

Information you provide throughout the checkout process to purchase one or multiple products and/or services on our Site, will be using to fulfil your orders. Any payment transactions will be encrypted. Details of transactions you carry out with us and of the fulfilment of your orders.

CareerMatch provides you with the ability to pay for online courses and other products/services using PayPal and/or credit card through third party payment processing service providers. CareerMatch does not collect and process your payment information. This is done via our payment processing service providers.

Course Related Information

If you participate in an online course, you may submit posts, assignments and exams, respond to quizzes, provide feedback and ratings, and submit additional student-generated content and communication in forums and otherwise provided outlets throughout the site. Data submitted on the Site is stored on secured servers.

Where We Store Your Personal Data

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted.

  • submissions of files, assignments, quizzes, exams, ratings, and/or surveys
  • information stored on third-party platforms, including but not limited to email correspondence

Please be aware that in some cases, even after your account is terminated or deleted, we may retain your information as long as we have a legitimate purpose to do so and in accordance with applicable law.

Disclosure of Your Information

We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company, and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 736 of the UK Companies Act 1985.

We may disclose your personal information to third parties

  • In the event of a Merger or Business Transfer

    In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.

    If CareerMatch or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.

  • With the Instructor

    We may share information about your profile, your courses, your forum participations, your assignments and quiz activities with instructors or teaching assistants of courses in which you enroll or for which you request information. However, instructors and teaching assistants cannot view your email address or phone number.

  • With other Users

    Your profile information may be publicly viewable to other users that may interact with throughout the CareerMatch platform.

  • With Third Party Business Partners, Contractors, and Service Providers

    We may share your information with third party partners that perform services on our behalf, including for payment processing, order fulfilment, data analysis, marketing services, hosting services, customer services, and customer support. These third party business partners are required to use it solely as directed by us for the purpose of our requested service.

  • If Required by Law

    We may disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or to protect against the imminent harm to the rights, property, or safety of CareerMatch, our customers, or others. We may also disclose or share information about you to auditors, legal advisors, and law enforcement in order to help detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, abuse, misuse, potential violations of law, security concerns, and/or technical issues.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you the following rights:

    You have the right not to be subject to profiling.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any Services and Software from our site. You should understand that by ordering any of our Services and Software, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Please understand that by signing the purchase order form you are doing so in acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please understand that if you do not accept these terms and conditions you will not be able to order Services from this company.

Service and Product Availability

2 Our site is only intended for use by people who comply with these terms and conditions and who accept our privacy policy. Regardless of this we make no guarantees as to the downtime of our site or services and you accept there may be times when the site may not be accessed due to essential maintenance repairs or upgrading of services and/or Software or for other reasons beyond our control.

Your Status

3 By placing an order through our site, you warrant that:

3.1.1 You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;

3.1.2 You are at least 18 years old;

3.1.3 Your use of the Software and Services includes the ability to enter into contracts and/or to make purchases electronically. You acknowledge that your electronic submissions constitute your agreement and intent to be bound by and to pay for such contracts and transactions. Your agreement and intent to be bound by electronic submissions applies to all records relating to all transactions that you enter into on this site, including notice of cancellations, policies, contracts and applications.

Formation of Contract and Obligations

4.1 Once your order has been processed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation letter from us.

4.2 The Contract will relate only to those Services and Software whose dispatch we have confirmed in the Dispatch Confirmation. I.e. (login email).


5.1 In consideration of you agreeing to abide by the terms of this Licence, the Licensor hereby grants to you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Software and the Documentation on these terms.

5.2 You may: (a)use the Software for your personal training purposes on one personal computer or device at any one time if the Licence is a single-user licence or as agreed between the parties in writing;

(b) if the software fails, contact us and We shall use our reasonable endeavours to remedy the defect within a reasonable time frame.

5.3 (a) You undertake not to copy the Software or Documentation except where such copying is incidental to normal use of the Software;

(b) You undertake not to rent, lease, sub-licence, loan, translate, merge, adapt, vary or modify the Software or Documentation;

5.4You will not reveal your personal login details to any other party.

5.5 You will not lend, sell, swap or otherwise compromise the integrity of your personal login details.

5.6 The duration of your course will last for a period of 12 months from the date your login details are emailed to you. Should you wish to access the course after this time you will need to pay for a new subscription.

5.7 If we have strong grounds to believe that you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of this Contract, we have the right to revoke your Licence.

Availability and Delivery

6.1 Orders will be fulfilled once payment has cleared into our bank account or have successfully redeemed a voucher.

6.2 Your login details will be active within 48hrs of your successfully purchasing or redeeming a course.

Risk and Title

7.1 The continued use of the Software and Services is conditional on full payment of all sums due or if applicable satisfactory maintenance of any instalment arrangements you have with the Company in respect of the Software and Services.

7.2 In the event you have opted to pay for your course material over a series of instalments and default on your payments, we reserve the right to forward your details onto a debt recovery company to recover unpaid fees/payments.

Price and Payment

8.1 Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you an email with your login details.

8.2 We will only accept credit or debit cards, cash, cheque and or bank transfer, vouchers and via an agreed instalment plan as payment.

8.3 If you have opted to pay for your course via several instalments, we will set you up with a Direct Debit and deduct monthly payments from your bank account until your balance has been reduced to nil.

Our Refund Policy

9.1 You may cancel a Contract at any time within seven working days, beginning on the day after the Contract has been formed, i.e. signed and dated by you. (Voucher customers please refer to section 9.4.

9.2 Orders purchased directly from us will normally be processed within seven working days from the date purchased. You have the right to cancel your order within this period by notifying us by email at: info@careermatch-uk.com. We will not accept telephone calls, voice messages, verbal communications, or any other means other than that specified here as confirmation that you wish to cancel your course. If we have not received any confirmation of your wish to cancel using the methods specified within seven working days of the date you signed your application, we will not be able to cancel your course and return any monies paid as a deposit.

9.3 Because you have cancelled your contract within the specified period, we will process the refund due to you (if monies have been paid) as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day you have given notice of your cancellation.

9.4 Voucher sales, Under guidance of the long distance trading act the following policy is in effect; a refund may be provided upon receipt of a refund request within 7 days of purchase. This is subject to vouchers not being redeemed (if you have redeemed a voucher you will not be eligible for a refund).

9.5 If you have booked a course and have submitted a valid request to cancel in writing within 7 days of your original order then you refund will be fully granted subject to the below conditions:

9.6 Discounted Courses, We do not offer any refunds on discounted courses or special offers

9.7 All refund requests must be received in writing and emailed to: info@careermatch-uk.com


10.1 For the avoidance of doubt you are advised to seek medical advice if you feel ill during the course and you agree that prior to taking the course, if you suffer from any medical condition such as back pain or epileptic fits, you will consult with your own doctor over your suitability of the course.

Written Communications

11.1 You agree that communication with us will be mainly electronic.  We will contact you by email or offer general information through notices on our website.


12.1 All emailed notices given by you must be sent to: info@careermatch-uk.com , We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide on your purchase order form.

Our Right to Vary these Terms and Conditions

13.1 We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in market conditions affecting our business, changes in technology, changes in payment methods, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our system’s capabilities.

Law and Jurisdiction

14.1 Contracts for the purchase of Software and/or Services through our site will be governed by English law.  Any dispute arising from, or related to, such Contracts shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
